Tournament of Kings

A feast of fun and magic…the Tournament of Kings provides an amazing display of dragons, wizards, repartee, battles and of course a good old fashioned banquet.

What’s It All About
As the diners enjoy their dragons blood (tomato soup!) within King Arthur’s domain, a fanfare commences to introduce the great entrance of seven kings and one dragon knight. Medieval costumes bring off the full atmosphere of bygone times including horses adorned with colourful plumage. The shows’ kings then feast with King Arthur at the Round Table. Once satiated, the games commence, which includes sword fighting, primitive battles, horse racing and a jousting match. The merriment is broken up when the wicked Mordred, the fire wizard, tries to take over King Arthur's kingdom. As the kings unite, one is bludgeoned to death, causing the other kings to take vengeance over his death. Every battle is magnificent, with fire and smoke abound, until the final conflict settles a victor.

The Arena
There are seven different "country" sections within the four-row deep arena and a "dark knight" area symbolizing the evil Mordred's followers.

Participation
Diners are invited to engage with the kings, in the cheering, whilst enjoying their meal. The participation from the audience makes the show what it is, an exciting display of physical strength and skilfulness which only intensifies with the loud cheering.
