History
Going back to 1959, in a Chicago’s ‘The Second City’ cabaret room, stood the Second City stars for the very first time. This theatre has produced many a great comedy genius including Jim Belushi, Robert Klein, George Wendt, John and Gilda Radner and Martin Short. Their fame has helped give The Second City the deserved reputation it still enjoys today.
Today
Visitors can see the most amusing sketch comedy and improvisation performed live at Bugsy's Celebrity Theatre. Second City is on a par with the Blue Man Group and is famous for both rehearsed skits and on-the-spot creations, most of which are sparked off by the audience. There is always a surprise appearance from a comedy master during any night of the week, which has included Jim Belushi and Martin Short.

Shows are nightly Tuesday through Sunday, 8pm and 10.30pm, no show on Mondays. Ongoing.
