The Scintas – It’s A Family Thing

Go and have a ball with the Scintas – It’s A Family Thing and their singing, humour and spot-on impressions.

The Family
The family of four includes Joe Scinta, the eldest brother, who plays the bass with amazing dexterity. Younger brother Frank Scinta, who plays every instrument on the planet and offers brilliant impressions that are both totally uncanny and hilariously funny. The younger sister, Chrissi Scinta, who is the original diva, sings soprano with a powerful voice that gives tribute to many a celebrity including Barbra Streisand. Drummer Peter Odonnell, the only non-Sicilian Scinta, the straight man in the group, provides the percussion in the group.

The Storyline
The show goes back in time, focusing on the history of the Scintas and uses brilliant musical selections and impressions of legendary American icons as the years move on, from Neil Diamond to Patsy Cline, to Barbara Streisand to the Beatles and many more old age bands.

Tributes
There’s plenty of hilarious tributes in the show, one of which is to Elvis Presley, the audience are given two different performances of the “King of Rock n Roll”. The first one is a sexy-suited Chrissi, followed by a fat caricature from Joe Scinta. There’s even a spaced-out Joe Cocker and a great impersonation of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. The show is side-splitting fun and great for the whole family…a must-see show.
