Mystere

Stirring music, brilliant colours, spectacular costumes, bizarre movements and actions...

The Theatre
With over 6 million spectators since it's debut in 1993, Mystère is a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds performed in the resorts’ famous theatre, Cirque du Soleil. With beautiful plush seats and a stage that rises and drops constantly, the performers use virtually every piece of space within the theatre to entertain the audience, often walking right into the crowd to excite and thrill.

The Entertainment
The international cast is made up of 72 dancers, acrobats, singers, musicians and clowns who provide an intriguing blend of splendour, power, elegance, passion and precision. With costumes and makeup making the performers look like bizarre humanoids, the audience is taken through time into an unknown world filled with strange creatures. The performance eventually gives way to an aerial bungee ballet, based around Chinese poles and an awe-inspiring trapeze act with further performances including an amazing display of acrobatics, stilt walking, pole climbing, modern dancing and more. The background music is provided by a live band and singers, who impart as much feeling and enchantment as the performance itself.
