The Illusionary Magic of Rick Thomas

Big cats, exotic animals, stage magic and dancers are all part and parcel of Rick Thomas’s illusionary act. The unique aspect of the show, however, is that it is in the afternoon.

Afternoon Trickery
Due to Rick’s early shows, he is often underrated as a professional performer, which of course is not true, the main reason for the time is to create a more adequate time for the entire family. Rick’s hard work on perfecting his acts pays off when his tricks run smoothly one after the other and the guy is just as adept with the sleight of hand and close up magic as he is with the larger stage magic illusions.

Audience Participation
Rick interacts with the audience and usually uses a child and adults in some of his illusions. Thomas also works with a variety of trained animals including various types of birds and a pair of white tigers who strut around the stage whilst being admired by the audience. The interesting thing about Thomas’s tricks is that when the audience thinks there over they’re not, there always seems to be a trick beyond the trick, this is the main element that keeps the audiences coming back time and time again.
