Danny Gans
Danny Gans
Simplicity is the secret to impressionist Danny Gans show. No spectacles, special effects, chorus or dancing girls, just one guy and his band.
Any Good?
All in all this goes to show that the man is talented and the full attention that he gets from the audience proves this. Using a mixture of impressionism, comedy and sentimentality he gets the audience into a fit of hysterics or depending on the act into a flood of tears! Danny has a professional acting skills and a terrific singing voice with his female voices being just as impressive as his male voices.
The Impressions
Vibrant energy starts the show off and with such a fast paced medley of impressions, the audience may feel exhausted for him by the second half!
Danny Gans many excellent impressions include Nat King Cole, Kermit the Frog and Jimmy Stewart singing a duet, George Burns and Al Pacino's monologue from "Scent of a Woman".
The Theatre
Nearly as simplistic as the showman himself, the Danny Gans Theatre is reasonably spacious but not elaborate, with ample cosy seating and good lighting. Viewing is favourable throughout the theatre due to its smaller size.
Danny Gans has been awarded entertainer of the year and once anyone has seen this guy’s show its obvious why.
