The Forum Shops At Caesars Palace

A tiptop, first-rate spot to shop…Forum Shops at Caesars displays an amazing reproduction of the ancient streets of Rome, where visitors can stroll along viewing the treasures on display by international houses of fashion.

The Setting
Relax beside an ornate fountain paying homage to Zeus and enjoy cool Mediterranean "breezes" within the temperature-controlled environment, while viewing a ‘sky’ that changes throughout the day from a rosy-mauve dawn to high noon to the fading gold of the afternoon to twilight and finally night time with twinkling stars! Shoppers can also witness the hourly performance of Bacchus and his court of Roman gods as the stone-like statues move and talk amid a display of laser lights.

Stores Galore!
With an immense selection of stores, The Forum Shops should be on any visitor’s must see list, twice, regardless of whether anything is bought. From famous designers such as Hugo Boss, Ann Taylor and Bernini to popular favourites Guess, Diesel and Banana Republic. But what really separates the Forum Shops apart from the rest are its specialty shops such as Lalique offering beautiful, crystal bowls, vases and platters. Rhinestone-studded shoes with handbags to match, at Stuart Weitzman, are the perfect partnership for the most stylish evening. Estee Lauder's with its porcelain boxes and trinkets are relatively cheap and are great gift items.

Take Some Time Out
With over 100 stores, attractions and restaurants, there's plenty to do, there’s even entertainment for the worn out shoppers, a place where they can rest their feet and watch the statues "talk" at the Atlantis fountain show. Hungry? Stop for dessert at the Cheesecake Factory, a sweet lovers paradise. A great place to have lunch, but due to its popularity, be prepared to queue.

The Upscale Shops
Shoppers should also check out the Appian Way shops, located in an arcade as you walk to Caesars' front desk. The Appian Way houses 15 upscale shops, including the classy Bernini Couture. Make sure you stop in at Cottura, which features imported ceramic art, including Italian pottery, vases, busts, generous serving bowls and china.

Bigger and Better
The original $110-million dollar complex, which opened in 1992, proved so successful that it was expanded and a further 35 stores and entertainment outlets opened in 1997. A second extension opened in the summer of 2000, adding another 240,000 sq. ft to the existing 533,000 sq. ft. On average 50,000 people visit every day, rising to 70,000 at the weekends and even 80,000 a day during the Christmas period.

Further Information
Located inside Caesars Palace at the intersection of the Strip and Flamingo Road.
