Rio Hotel and Casino

With a Brazilian carnival atmosphere, high-energy fun is the image at the Rio Hotel and Casino.

The Exterior
Visitors to the hotel will feel in the centre of a carnival with the vibrant red and purple neon towers of the Rio Hotel and Casino and the suspended parade floats in the Masquerade Village's show which stops frequently to amaze onlookers.

Casino
Guests will love the Caribbean party atmosphere and fun colours within the 120,000-sq-ft casino, which has more than 1,700 slot and video poker machines and the 70 table games, include blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat and a full race and sports book.

Entertainment
Entertainment abounds with Club Rio, BiKiNiS and the VooDoo Lounge, located 51 stories above the Strip. There are great magic acts for the folks from magicians Penn & Teller. Fancy a good laugh? The comic antics and singing of the Scintas will have visitors in hysterics and the teasing Chippendale dancers will have the viewers screaming!

Rooms
Glorious suite-sized rooms, largest in town, are absolute heaven, after a long night at the gaming tables and the amenities provided include a coffee maker, safe, refrigerators, and sitting areas. With more than 2,500 suites, 600 square feet of space and panoramic views, guests will never want to leave their room! An interesting feature to the hotel is that the shower room has a "window", making it possible to watch television while in the shower.

Eating Out
Guests will find themselves dining in exciting, rich and colourful surroundings, with numerous refined restaurants, including Antonio’s Italian Ristorante, Bamboleo and Gaylord, coffee shops, snack stands and the most popular buffet in Las Vegas, the Carnival World Buffet.

Specialty shops include Gary's Island/Dick's Last Resort, Viva Vegas, Mardi Gras Cigars, ,Bernard K. Passman Gallery, Mrs. Field's Cookies and Diamonds International.

The Pool
Get down to the pool, which resembles a tropical, blue lagoon. Even though the area is mostly concrete, the Rio's pool complex is stunning, with palm trees swaying throughout the area and a few bright aquatic fresco, painted on the simulated rocks and there’s cascading waterfalls everywhere. The pool area and sandy beach is ideal for sunbathers, with open and secluded spots.

The Spa
Guest should try out the hotel’s own spa which offers four different massages (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy and Foot), five body treatments including the Enzymatic Sea Mud Wrap and the Aroma Body Paraffin! Fancy a facial? There are eight to choose from including a Mutivitamin Power Facial and a Hydroxy Acid Facial. Needing to work off those few extra pounds?
