Tilted Kilt
Tilted Kilt
A quirky take on Scottish pubs, with a pinch of Irish, English and American class.
The Furnishings
As the name implies this bar associates itself with Ireland and Scotland with bartenders dressed out in the full kilt, tilted sexily for that wee bit of excitement! Situated within the main room is a wee bit of Celtic Traditional pub entertainment such as darts and pool, complemented by objet d'art and pop culture memorabilia, found scattered around the room creating the real feel of the ‘och aye the noo!
The Grog
There are two dozen quality beers on tap, which include domestic and imported types, so maybe half a pint per different beer will get the biggest of beer guts through half of them, with a second hangover being needed to try the other half!
The Grub
Generosity is hard to come across these days, but this bar has it, in the form of large complimentary barrels of pretzels, each a different flavour and shape. Not a fan of pretzels? Hungry drinkers can order corn chips and melted cheese with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, chiles and jalapeńos, of course this one isn’t a freebie! Another wee tasty dish is “McGreger’s Garden”, a pizza topped with yellow and red peppers, mushrooms and sweet white onions and not forgetting “Maggie Mae’s” fish ‘n’ chips!
