Ice House Lounge

This lounge makes a change from the usual, with bar tops made of ice…

The Exterior
Right in the middle of downtown Las Vegas is the Art Deco styled Ice House Lounge, a two-storey, 12,800 sq ft restaurant and lounge. The place also has LED lights that sparkle on the building at night, with ever-changing colours and surrounding palm trees.

The Interior
Keeping the place homely are the various old photographs of early Las Vegas, 1960’s furniture, stainless steel and a green colour scheme throughout the dining and lounge areas. Keeping the visitors fully entertained is 13 top of the range, plasma screens which display a full range of sporting events and music concerts and video poker machines to keep the gambling fever going.

The Ice Bar
The main attraction to the place is the centre bar which is decorated by glass and stainless steel with the bar top on one side made completely of ice, which needs to be kept at a constant temperature and filled up with water every hour to keep it frozen! The main reason for the ice bar is to keep the guests’ drinks cold, as certain shooters and cocktails taste their best at a low temperature.

Upstairs
The Ice House also features an upstairs lounge which hosts special late night promotions and can be used for visitors’ private functions including parties, weddings, birthdays etc. This lounge also has a bar with its top made of frozen ice…good to cool down on when the room heats up!
