Ride ‘Em Cowboy
This bar has great entertainment in the form of a mechanical bull! As the night goes on and the beer starts to flow and more and more people test their skills on the ride, with more and more people falling off the thing, due to the drunken state they’re in!! Things heat up though on Fridays and Saturdays when the ‘Bikini Bull Riding’ competition takes place, the women who enter take the contest pretty seriously due to the $500 that’s available to the winner.
Dancing
Dancing is major business down at Gilley’s and their dance floor must be seen to be believed. Every night the huge dance floor is filled with country clad folk with their cowboy boots and hats providing the perfect accompaniment to their professional dance routines. The dancers usually dance in time and to just sit and watch is entertainment enough.
Seating
There are tables around the bar for worn out or non-dancers to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat. There are also plenty of bowls of peanuts on the tables for any visitors that are just looking for a quick snack.
Live Music
Keeping country music alive and kicking is the live music nights at Gilley’s. The best and most popular country and western music is only played at this venue.

Located at the New Frontier Hotel and Casino, 3120 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas.
Open daily from 4pm to early am. No tank tops.
Cover charge is $5 on Thursday and $10 on a Friday and Saturday after 10pm.
Live music is on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and a DJ at 7.30pm other nights.
Bull rides are Sunday through Wednesday from 4pm to 9pm and competitions are Friday and Saturday at midnight.
Ladies night is on a Thursday with free bull rides and drinks for $1 all night from 9pm.
Thursday through Saturday is the $10 all you can drink draft beer night, starting at 9pm.
Line dancing lessons are on Friday and Saturday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
Must be 21 or over.
