La Posada de Santa Fe Description
Situated on a six lanscaped acres in downtown Santa Fe, La Posada de Santa Fe is a luxury resort and spa with 157 adobe-style rooms. Renovated and re-opened in 1999, Southwestern charm and New World luxuries bestow an atmosphere of elegance and comfort on this historic retreat. Built in the late 1800's and recently restored to its original Victorian ambiance, the Staab House boasts a cozy lounge and Salon. Fuego the gourmet restaurant, provides and innovative, contemporary menu. Unique to La Posada is the Avanyu Spa, which offers distinctively Southwestern treatments, a fitness center, and salon; and a multi-million dollar art collection supplied by local galleries and displayed throughout the resort.La Posada has a $16 a day Resort Fee; this includes most Resort Activities and gratuities for the Front Desk, Concierge, Bellmen, Valet and housekeeping (Restaurant and Spa not included). Resort activities vary each month call for current activities.

Size ranges from 168-305 sq ft * C2Q - Classic Room 2 queen beds - charming room decorated in The vibrant colors of New Mexico. Features two queen size beds. Size ranges from 168-305 sq. ft. * A1K - Deluxe Room one king or queen bed ? a rich southwestern style king or queen bedded room with either a fireplace (wood or gas) or a patio or both. Size ranges from 182-360 sq. ft. * C1J - Classic Junior Suite king or queen bed? an oversized guest room with a sitting area in a rich southwestern style. There is no separation between bedroom and living room. The junior suite includes a king bed or queen bed. Room will accommodate a rollaway ($20 fee per night). Size ranges from 399-616 sq. ft. * A1J - Deluxe Junior Suite king or queen bed - an oversized guest room with either a fireplace (wood or gas) or a patio or both and a sitting area in a rich southwestern style. Gallery Suite Descriptions (The galley Suites can only be reserved by calling the resorts reservations department directly) * 226 - The Peyton Wright Suite The Peyton Wright Suite Features Paintings by and Darren Vigil Grey, and is our most prestigious suite. The Featured art by Grey is contemporary Southwest. The Modern iconographic style of Machado is reminiscent of the renaissance period. Contemporary rugs by Packard?s west complete the residential feeling of the suite. Privacy walls enclose the suite. The interior of the suite features three kiva fireplaces, a media room, an antique billiards table, two full baths with bidets, a private master bedroom, and ample living space for entertaining. Centrally located overlooking the lawn court. This suite is an ideal retreat for the bride and her family to gather. Size 1,200 SQ. FT. * 237 - The Turner Carroll Suite The Turner Carrol Suite perched over the Avanyu Spa with a magnificent view of the pool and grounds features contemporary works by several prominent artists. A must for art lovers and spa goers this suite promotes a dramatic view of the resort from the large outdoor terrace. The oversized windows enhance the living space in the sun filled gallery suite. Size 525 SQ. FT. * 236 - The Waxlander Suite Another in the Spa Suite Series the Waxlander suite, which features bold contemporary works of art by Marshall Noice, Phyllis Kapp, and Voctor Arnold to name a few. This suite is set for privacy and overlooks the rear courtyard and native landscaping. The second floor suite is private and convenient to the spa and pool areas. The outdoor terrace makes a great place for entertaining or a romantic dinner. Size 525 SQ. FT.
