Luxor Hotel and Casino

The Entrance
Guests will enter the hotel through a 30-story black glass pyramid and a pair of stepped-pyramid towers, to reach the majestic brilliance of ancient Egypt with all the technological wonders of the modern world.
Rooms
Guests will stay in one of the 4,408 custom-designed guest rooms and suites, located in the pyramid and towers. Inspiringly decorated with an Egyptian motif and wooden furniture with etched out hieroglyphics, the visitors’ spacious rooms contain air conditioning, clock radios, remote-controlled cable TV, electronic door locks, hair dryers (on request), iron and ironing board (on request), pay-per-view movies, telephone and voice mail. Everything a guest could possibly need!
Casino
Within the immense pyramid, guests will discover a lavish casino within 120,000 square feet of gaming space. Here, guests turn into serious players trying their luck with table favourites such as roulette, blackjack, craps and baccarat as well as an extravagant poker room and a multitude of high-paying slots. Last but not least is the hotel’s popular Race and Sports book for all sporting fans out there.
The Attractions Floor
Fun for the whole family can be had on the attractions floor, a new and exciting area for advanced film and ride technology. Take a ride on the floor’s motion simulator, or take the kids down to the two-story video arcade, Games of the Gods, where there is simulator rides including the very popular ‘Search for the Obelisk’. The floor even has a perfect replica of Howard Carter's famous 1922 discovery of Tutankhamum and a ‘Tomb and Museum of King Tutankhamun’, where guest’s can go and gaze at the Egyptian King’s replica jewels etc. There’s also an IMAX Theatre, where film viewing comes alive with its gigantic screen (68 feet tall by 48 feet wide) and 15,000-watt digital sound system.
The Spa
Have a pampered day down at The Oasis Spa, located in the Luxor's cool and lush pool area. Guests can choose from a wide array of facials, body wraps and treatments as well as some unusual specials including the pumpkin enzyme peel and the cranberry enzyme scrub! For guests who are aching after a hard night at the gaming tables, a massage is a necessity and with six glorious massage types, including Swedish, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and the new Riverstone Massage guests will feel like they’re in seventh heaven!
Spa Package
Visitors must indulge themselves at the spa's recommended "day at the spa". The day begins with a Botanical Body Buff, followed by the Down-to-Earth Body Masks and the Swedish massage, finished off with a hydrating facial. A day of rest for sure!
Health Club
Have a workout at the Luxor’s health club, with high-tech, fitness equipment including trendy treadmills, weight machines, a stairmaster and trained instructors to give plenty of help and advice.
The Pool
Cool down at the Oasis pool at the Luxor, a charming retreat with five, spacious, sparkling pools. Outside, in a quieter part of the hotel complex, water flows gracefully down a succession of pillars and mist sprays are located around the plentiful palms. Cocktail service is available and cabanas can be rented for $75.
Shopping
Fancy a day out shopping? Visitors to the Giza Galleria shopping promenade, with its ancient Egyptian Bazaar theme, offers a variety of stores, with a diverse range of sales items, from finely crafted authentic Egyptian vases to exotic bath and body products to fine clothing and even children's gifts and sweet treats. Walk next to enchanting fountains, beautifully sculpted statues and along elegant stone walkways to browse around some of Giza’s stores.
Dining Choices
Guests can enjoy many a tasty meal at the Luxor, with dining choices including the seafood-selling Sacred Sea Room, the gourmet delights of Isis, the oriental pleasures of Hamada, the Spanish hot dishes at La Salsa and many more.
Entertainment
Guests can dance the night away at the Ra nightclub featuring top-class DJs and a bustling dance floor or if visitors fancy a bit of live entertainment there’s Nefertiti’s Lounge. For guests wanting to be entertained big style there’s the 1,200-seat Luxor Theater, home to Blue Man Group and also the Pharaoh’s Theatre, which is home to Midnight Fantasy, a topless show.
Wedding Bells
Guests can take their loved one to the hotel’s wedding chapel to say their vows and become Mr and Mrs all in the space of an hour or two.
Interesting Elevation
A different kind of elevator ride altogether, where guests use the ‘inclinator’ elevator to reach their rooms inside the pyramid. This special elevator rises at a 39-degree angle, with an ultra-bright light, high above the pyramid offering beautiful nocturnal sights on some nights, such as bats and birds flying across the illuminating light.

The spa is open 24 hours, excluding Tuesday, when the facility is open until 11:30 p.m.
There is a monorail that passes from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay, stopping at the Luxor on the return trip only.
The pool is open 8.00am – 7.00pm (seasonal).
Wedding hours are 9.00am – 7.00pm, with prices ranging from $625 - $1,400.
