Stallion Mountain Country Club Secretariat
Its the only 54-hole, private country club in Las Vegas.
How It Got Its Name
Love for wild horses roaming the wild Nevada deserts inspired the birth of Stallion Mountain Country club and its equestrian theme. Each of its courses was renamed after legendary champion horses: Secretariat, Man O'War and Citation.
The Secretariat Course
Challenging holes played over water features, offer golfers great shot values and views over 7,223 yards. Tiered fairways and greens are highlighted by natural, stunning landscape. There are also five lakes producing water features on nine of the holes along with undulating hills, testing bunkers, green fairways and mature pines creating many challenging problems for the golfers! Each hole on the course has a name that resembles its type of play, such as Longview, Saddle, Entrapment, Rough & Ready, Desperation, Temptation and Forced Carry, so beware!
