Enveloped within the beautiful Spring Mountains, the Siena Golf Club is a popular daily retreat for both golfing visitors and the Siena community in Summerlin.
The Course
The 72 par Siena course features rolling fairways, strategically placed bunkers, water features and undulating greens. The course provides plenty of fun, with designers Curley and Schmidt creating the layout so that each hole has 5 tee positions, a nice mingle of doglegs and immediate holes, as well as a mix of uphill to downhill holes to cater for players of all abilities. Though a majority of the fairways are fairly generous, the 85 well-placed, white sand bunkers, around the greens and the six holes with water features give the golfers the biggest challenges. Even though water is prominent on 6 of the first 9 holes, not forgetting a cascading waterfall on the 18th, it only comes into play on 4 of the holes.
