Elevations
Boasting a peak elevation of 3,053 feet, Highland Falls course, measuring 6,512 yards, is the most elevated in Southern Nevada. Built on rolling hills with a sparseness of trees, golfers will have access to many an easy shot, providing they dodge the various ponds scattered about the course!
The Holes
The signature hole is #17, a 168-yard, par 3, with a slight dogleg right fairway, requiring a tee shot to a bunkered green that features a cascading waterfall. The front nine features rolling hills which get steeper on the back nine. The four par 5s all play less than 545 yards, but with its undulations and tactically placed bunkers, presents a good challenge. Sand and water virtually surrounds every golf hole and golfers can expect to play a round of golf in just under four hours.
Save Water
The course incorporates water-saving techniques such as the use of limited non-turf area. This provides contrasting colour and reduces overall water consumption and maintenance. Hybrid buffalo grass covers certain slopes to control erosion and reduce water use and maintenance needs, while providing a playable turf area.
