The Falls Golf Club
What a course this is! Home to more than 19 acres of stunning water features, The Falls include a 185-foot waterfall on the 11th hole and a 165-foot waterfall on the 17th hole.
The Course
A par 72, 7,250-yard course, which has a quaint layout that envelops the stunning beauty of the area. There are elevation changes of more than 400 feet, mostly from holes 10, 11 and 12, with the 13th tee providing a fantastic view of the Lake Las Vegas Resort as well as the glitzy Las Vegas Strip.
The Holes
On the course, the par 5 12th hole may be the most difficult hole. Playing uphill, the 553-yard hole peaks several hundred feet above the tee box within a green heavily guarded by bunkers. This hole is definitely a three-shot for most golfers.
Another interesting hole is the 13th. It's a 378-yard par 4 with the green peeping from behind a rock formation. In front of the structure is a natural rock arch through which the green is visible from the tee. The hole is far from easy, players need to keep their shot long and left. The 14th is a short 336-yard par 4, which plays downhill and is very driveable from the elevated tee, provided the bunkers are avoided! With the 77 bunkers, rock formations and water features scattered all over the course, challenge and skill are definitely words to use for this course!
