Bali Hai Golf Club
Bali Hai Golf Club
Tropically-themed, the Bali Hai golf course has a look of the South Pacific. With over 3,500 palm trees, more than 100,000 flowers, 7 acres of water features, brilliant white sand bunkers, costing over $300,000 and made of crushed white marble, black lava rock and a beautiful island green to complete the South Seas look.
The Golf Course
This par-72 course is very popular playing to 7,002 yards from the tips and is highly challenging. The 16th hole is one of the most scenic and dangerous on the course, measuring just 141 yards, the island green is a daunting target for any player. Looking larger than it appears, the green is an inviting play area, but there are two distinct tiers. Being on the proper level is vital. The 17th and 18th are both par-4s playing more than 480 yards, with severe undulating green. The green slopes away from the player, and at the back, moves toward water behind it. An approach shot that hits the back could easily find its way down the slope and into the water. Rated the second and fourth hardest holes on the course, these two holes will even be a challenge to the most expert of players.
