Badlands Golf Club
Badlands Golf Club
A great target course, with its 27 holes impressed into the bottomless canyons of Northwest Las Vegas. The course requires precision golf and offers a rugged look at the beauty of the desert.
Great For Beginners
With four sets of tees, the Badlands Golf Course make it a perfect play area for beginners and pros.
Nine-Hole Venues
There are three nine-hole venues, the Desperado, the Diablo and the Outlaw, with all being just as tough as their given name!
The Desperado
Forced carries over desert canyons, ravines and washes make this course a hard one for the beginner, particularly in the closing stretch, but the beautiful landscape views are worth the price of admission. The eighth hole, a 196-yard par 3, is a must-hit-right hole! There’s a deep ravine that runs across it and any balls that end up in the ravine, are impossible to get out. Long is better on this picturesque hole, as there is room left and past the putting surface.
The Diablo
Featuring some of the most scenic and challenging holes at the Badlands. This is the longest of the three nines, with 2 of the par fours playing at over 470 yards from the tips. The fairways are open and spacious, but the approaches demand accuracy and length. The initial holes play into the wind, but golfers can enjoy the benefit of extra length on the finishing holes.
The Outlaw
Holes 1 to 9 (numbered 19-27) are at this course and the 511-yard par 5, with a carry of 240 yards or so gets golfers onto the green. This green is large enough to hold fairway wood shots and those true-putting greens give you every opportunity to post that rare 3.
