The Rooms
Guests can choose from an amazing 750 rooms and suites, to spend their sleeping time in. They’re spacious and light, with luxurious carpets, adobe walls with wood trim, and South-western-style curtains and spreads.
The Casino
Visitors will have mounds of choice, at the hotel’s casino, which offers more than 2,100 slot machines, an assortment of table games including roulette, blackjack, craps and baccarat, a Keno lounge with the only million-dollar Keno game in Las Vegas, a Race and Sports book and much more.
Entertainment
Diverse crowds are drawn to the hotel for its varying entertainment, ranging from extreme sports betting to arty, non-Hollywood film viewing to country music listening to bingo playing. There’s also a 70 lane, ten-pin bowling alley to while away the hours, with plenty of ice cream to eat afterwards at the casino’s shop.
History
Opening its doors in December 1986, the Gold Coast became an immediate success. Visitors and guests alike headed for the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino instead of one on the Strip because of the excitement, entertainment and fabulous dining. With the success came an immediate need for expansion. In 1988, the size of the complex was doubled. The annex included another casino with added shops and restaurants and a 70-lane family bowling centre, occupying the second floor. The popularity of the Gold Coast brought the need for additional rooms. In July 1990, a 450-room tower, adjacent to the existing hotel structure, was opened.
Child Care
A childcare facility is another addition to the expansion, which is staffed by licensed, trained personnel and provides a free service to children over two years, as long as the parents stay on the premises.
Have A Swim
Surrounded by beautiful landscaping, waterfalls, spa and a fully serviced bar, is the outdoor heated pool, where residents can feel like they’re on a hot, tropical island for a while.
The Ballroom
Its big, beautiful and useful. The Gold Coast’s 10,000 square-foot ballroom is perfect for parties, meetings and conventions, and can accommodate up to 600 people at a time. Food and beverage menus can be prepared by our expert catering staff to suit any occasion.
Gift Shopping
Uniqueness is at the forefront of the mind when entering the hotel’s gift shop, as all items are interesting and one of a kind that will satisfy anybody’s requirements. From exotic glassware to souvenir tee shirts,the 24-hour a day gift shop is great for the family back at home.
Food
The guests will be spoilt for choice at the resorts 8 eateries including the Cortez Room, Monterey Room, Ping Pang Pong and Ports O' Call Buffet.

Located at 4000 West Flamingo Rd, one mile west of the Strip with a complimentary shuttle to its sister properties, the Barbary Coast and the Orleans.
Pool opening hours are 9am – 9pm in the summer and 9am – 5pm in the winter.
Free parking available with two easy access-parking garages.
