Circus Circus Casino
Stop clowning around…Circus Circus has the largest permanent circus act in the world with all the usual acts and acrobats to keep the audience amused, bemused and infused!
The Casino
Guests will find plenty of gambling treats within the 101,000 square feet of casino area, from over 2,400 video poker and slot machines to mounds of table games to a 160-seat keno lounge. Sitting under the never-ending circus acts there’s 53 blackjack tables for visitors to gamble away their hard-earned money at craps, roulette, Big Six, Caribbean Stud, Let It Ride, pai gow poker, and Casino War. What most guests probably won’t know, until they get there, is that Circus Circus is home to the "Best Poker Room in Las Vegas".
The Adventuredome
This casino complex has more than just gaming tables. Visitors can have a really fun time down at the five-acre Adventuredome, a huge indoor theme park, the largest in the US, with rides and games including the Canyon Blaster, a double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster, video games, mazes and food stands to keep the guests energised. Last but not least is the four-minute, heart-pounding journey at the IMAX Ride/Film Cineplex, an adventure guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience.
Improvement
Most casinos are now renovating their facilities to bring a sense of refinement and class to the Strip. To challenge the rivals e.g. The Bellagio, in the area of refinement, Circus Circus has removed a lot of its gaudy colours and toned down the Crusty the Clown-type surroundings.
The Casinos Fame
Since its opening in 1968, Circus Circus has been a huge interest in the film industry, appearing in two classic Las Vegas stories, firstly as a malevolent wonderland in Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and secondly as a backdrop to foreign plots in "Diamonds Are Forever."
For the Kids
The timeless hotel/casino is a great place to bring the kids, due to its theme and masses of entertainment including live circus acts, acrobats, trapeze artists, clowns and jugglers who perform around the clock. Carnivals are fun for the young ones, offering games of skill and chance and of course the theme-parked Adventuredome is a play palace as for both the young and old.
The Rooms
Whilst staying at the 3,774-roomed hotel, guests will find luxuries in abundance. Huge, sink-into beds await the weary and even larger bathrooms for all the bubble bath, scented ball lovers, to bathe in.
Food and Drink
Visitors should grab some food at one of Circus Circus’ several restaurants which include Barista, Blue Iguana, Circus Buffet, Pink Pony Café and Pizzeria and wash it all down with a few tequila sunrises at the venue’s rotating cocktail lounge.
