Caesar's Palace Casino

Remember the Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman casino scene in Rain Man? This is the one…Caesars Palace!

The Decor
The casino, which opened in 1966, is one of the most elaborate in Las Vegas, with its Roman temples, heroic arches, golden charioteers, Garden of the Gods and 50-foot Italian cypresses at the entrance is a sight to behold.

Gamble Away
Fit for a Roman emperor, Caesars Palace with its 129,000 square feet of gaming space and over 2,000 slot machines is elegantly adorned. Caesars has seen more million-dollar-plus slot jackpots than any other casino in the world. Visitors can try their hand at roulette, blackjack, craps and Spanish 21 or have a go at baccarat, mini-baccarat, poker or pai gow.

Roman Service
Cocktail waitresses, in short togas, and Roman centurion men, travel the casino between walkways, pillars and statues bathed in neon, to serve drinks to the gambling induced guests.

Shopping
Take home a souvenir from The Forum Shops at Caesars and The Appian Way, two top-class shopping areas set in an ancient Roman marketplace. The grand mall has more than 100 retail outlets and restaurants, providing visitors with a vast selection of fashion and goods, all situated under a dome roof complete with hand-painted, blue cloud-filled sky that characterises a sun that rises and sets.

Dining: Caesars offers assorted eating venues including restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck's Spago, The Palm, Planet Hollywood and Chinois.

Caesars Rooms
Occupying four towers, the city's most luxurious and elegantly appointed guest rooms, are the finest in accommodation. Guests can enjoy deluxe rooms with huge, comfy beds and lavish bathrooms that have polished, marble floors, marble tubs, European fixtures, ornate wardrobes and a safe. At the Palace Tower, rooms have added features such as four-poster beds (with mirrored ceilings!), jumbo-sized whirlpool baths, mini-refrigerators, and a two-line telephone with a data port. All rooms in the Palace Tower have nine-foot ceilings, creating a feeling of grandeur. Located within easy walking distance of restaurants, meeting rooms, pools, lounges and a spa, guests will have no trouble getting that massage or swim before heading on n to the dining area.

The Rainman Suite
Loved the 1988 film, Rainman? Or fancied Tom Cruise…or Dustin Hoffman (cough!) ? Then book this room, the same one that Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman occupied at the hotel.

Caesars Pool
Take a swim at Caesars ‘Garden of the Gods’, with its display of lavishness and profusion of ancient Rome, is the most exquisite pool area in Las Vegas. The area offers European (i.e. topless) swimming at the Venus Pool…never fear, the area is hidden from children's view.

Entertainment
Any guests hung up on Celine Dion will be in for a nice surprise at the $95-million Colosseum, featuring Miss Dion in 'A New Day', a showcase of the international pop star's singing career. Other entertainment includes magic shows, celebrity appearances and the 'Fall of Atlantis' fountain show, where the kids try and gain control of the underwater city, complete plenty of lasers and a 20-foot winged beast. The 50,000-gallon Atlantis Aquarium lies at the base of the show, and includes 25 different families of tropical fish.

Further Information
Located in the centre of the Las Vegas Strip and open 24 hrs a day. Pool use restricted to guests only.
Fall of Atlantis Fountain Show is open 10am-11pm daily.
