The Stratosphere Observation Deck

This is the place to be to really see Las Vegas at its best...at 1,149 feet, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States, the tallest building west of the Mississippi River and more than double the height of any other building in Nevada

The Decks

From the observation decks, lounge, restaurant, meeting, banquet and private dining rooms, guests enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding valley.

Once on the indoor deck, thrill seekers can enjoy excitement over 100 stories above the ground, on the Big Shot thrill ride and the High Roller roller coaster, this deck also provides a snack bar and two gift shops. For the less daring, there is the Strat-O-Fair midway attraction. The Strat-O-Fair features a renovated Ferris Wheel circa 1958, and a child size Little Shot. The décor is a 1960s view of the future and is complete with 3-D Hyper Bowl, midway games and two food outlets.

However, the outdoor deck, surrounded by two fences, one five feet high and another a level lower, which is ten feet high, is the best spot for taking snapshots or to watch the riders. Both decks have high-powered lenses for closer viewing.

What Else Has It Got?

The tower features a revolving Top of the World restaurant and lounge, which rotates 360 degrees in an hour and a special lighting system designed to provide a spectacular dancing light show nightly, which is visible throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Further Information

The Tower is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, Saturday and holidays.
