Scandia Family Fun Center

Las Vegas was once thought of as a city that lacks family-friendly activities. That situation has changed considerably in the last 10 years, especially with the opening of Scandia Family Fun Centre. When Scandia opened in 1986, there was little competition for family-oriented entertainment. Nearly sixteen years later, this amusement park is still a pleaser with kids and parents.

What’s The Centre Got?

This nine-acre park contains two beautifully landscaped 18 hole Miniature Golf courses, 9 battings cages, a snack bar, a go-cart track, a bumper boat lake with waterbug bumper boats, a kiddie area, and one of the better pinball and video game arcades in the city. Families' practice their swing on the golf courses, loaded with water traps, windmills and winding turf. The curvy go-cart track with slippery hills and hairpin turns makes the slow speeds seem fast. Kids will also love the batting cages, offering baseball and softball at various pitch speeds. If the sun's beating down, there are the bumper boats, where cold water and big splashes are part of the fun, or cool off inside the clubhouse, which offers a packed snack bar and an air-conditioned arcade with over 100 video, pinball, and carnival games.
