The Auto Collections at The Imperial Palace

Centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip, the Imperial Palace is not just among the ten largest hotels in the world but also houses one of the worldwide largest classic automobile collections. The collection contains close to one thousand automobiles of which 200 are on a rotating display at the hotel.

The Early 20th Century

From the earliest days of motoring is a rare 1910 Buick truck and an unusual 1908 Unic taxi, plus the 1905 Rapid bus!

The 1930’s

From the "Classic" era, comes one of the most unusual vehicles in the form of a 1934 Brewster-Ford Town Car. Created to provide affordable elegance during the dark days of the depression, the Brewster Coach Building firm traced its roots back to the mid-19th century. This fine established company built many beautiful cars, and the example in the Imperial Palace Auto Collection is among one of the favourites of visitors. Also featured is the sleek and handsome front-drive 1930 Ruxton, one of the most innovative cars ever produced in America.

The Famous Ones

Celebrity cars are also featured at the Imperial Palace’s Auto Collection, such as the 1955 Lincoln Capri and the 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood owned by film legend Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley's 1929 Duesenberg and the specially-ordered 1954 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe sedan with a unique air filtration system built for Howard Hughes

Muscle Admirers

Muscle car fans will be impressed with the mighty "Banana Yellow" 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee, equipped with the powerful 440-cid V-8 and a six-pack of triple two-barrel carbs to make this Mopar coupe get up and scoot.

The Others

Other interesting cars include a 1958 Edsel Pacer convertible, a 1940 Dodge military command car and a 1914 Detroit Electric roadster, all cars from the expansive Imperial Palace Antique and Classic Automobile Collection.

The Special Ones

A special room inside the collection is devoted to Duesenberg automobiles. One dozen of these magnificent automobiles are on display.

The Rarities

For those who prefer the rarest of the premiere classic automobiles, historic cars like a 1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, a wide assortment of legendary Duesenbergs or a 1961 Aston Martin DB4/GT Zagato, which is valued at more than $3,000,000 are always found on the floor of The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace.

Buy A Car

More than just a tourist attraction or museum, this is a working collection of vehicles where every car on display can be purchased. A knowledgeable sales staff is on hand daily to answer questions regarding the history and background of each vehicle, and to assist in putting together a sale of one of the featured cars on display.

Hours of Opening

The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace and its well-stocked gift shop is open to the public seven days a week, from 9:30 A.M. to 9:30 P.M.

Location

Just minutes away from McCarran International Airport and easily accessed from all major highways, the Auto Collections are located on the fifth floor of the parking structure of the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino.

Prices

Admission is just $6.95 for each adult, $3.00 for seniors and children 12 and under, with children under three admitted free with an adult. It is possible to get free passes from the casino.
